1. Through your Insurance provider:

This is the best and the easiest method to find the validity of your insured bike. You can either look into the policy documents that they have given you or you can check the same information online. 2. Through VAHAN:

The second way to find the validity is through VAHAN, which holds the database of all the registered vehicles in India. You can find the details of your vehicle along with the expiry of your insurance and license plate.

Step 1: Simply go to this website: https://vahan.parivahan.gov.in/ and sign up using your mobile number and email id.

Step 2: Type in your registered vehicle’s license number and also type in the required CAPTCHA. 

Step 3: You will be redirected to the page where you can find the information about the validity date for your vehicle.

3.Through Insurance Information Bureau (IIB)

The IIB acts as a single point of reference for all insurance information. It also has all the data regarding the claims made by a person for their vehicle. To see the validity of your bike insurance policy, you can simply follow the below steps:

• Step 1: Visit IIB’s official website.
• Step 2: Under the “Quick Links” section of the home page, select “V-Seva’’ to the Accident Vehicle Information Retrieval System form.
• Step 3: Enter all the mandatory fields with relevant information such as your name, email address, mobile number, house address, bike registration number, and accident details such as date and place.
• Step 4: Enter the text from the CAPTCHA and click on “Submit” to view the expiry date of your bike insurance policy.

Note: The accident details should be completed. You can’t view the details without them.
